2023 CHIA Conference Program

Program Overview

The 23rd Annual Conference, "Making Waves," will consists of more than 20 educational sessions:

2-hour workshops
1-hour breakouts

In keeping with tradition, we will have our Networking Reception, Dance Party, CHIA Awards and Closing Ceremony Raffle!

See below for the CEUs awarded to each session. The conference mobile app, available prior to the conference, will have session descriptions and presenter bios.

It is not necessary to pre-register for sessions. You must attend a complete session in order to receive credit for it.

Certificates of attendance with CEU verification will be emailed following the conference. Attendees are responsible for submitting their own CEU certificates to the appropriate accrediting body.

ATA this event has been approved for 10 CEPs in Category A. There is a cap of 5 CEPs per day.

CCHI has approved all sessions for continuing education credit. This means you can earn up to 9 credits from CCHI if you attend one activity during each oral presentation session time slot and the poster presentations.

IMIA/NBCMI has approved all breakout sessions and workshops for continuing education credit. This means you can earn up to 8 contact hours (0.8 IMIA/NBCMI CEUs) if you attend one activity during each oral presentation session time slot.

RID Interpreters should request CEUs via the PINRA process by working with an RID Approved Sponsor. Click here to see session descriptions, objectives, etc.

WA-DSHS approved by WA-DSHS on March 22, 2023 for 5 General Credits (approval #703). Attendants will need to submit their certificate in the LTC Gateway in order to receive credits.
