Exciting opportunities are available to promote your organization and meet attendees. Click here for details.

Awards

Please click on the links below to nominate an interpreter or interpreting trainer who is an exemplary professional worthy of recognition!

Nominations are due by April 30, 2024. Recipients are chosen by the CHIA board. They receive a plaque and recognition at the conference.

Attire

Workshops and breakout sessions: Most attendees choose "business casual" for this event. We recommend comfortable shoes for moving from one session to another. Did you know that we have CHIA t-shirts, hoodies and more available? Check out our conference-themed merch!

Dance party: This is a chance to dress up and put on your dancing shoes! Cocktail attire is appropriate.

ADA Accommodations

Requests for disability accommodations can be made at registration. Note that the venue also should be notified separately of any necessary accommodations.

Special Meal Considerations

Special meal needs can be indicated upon conference registration. CHIA will then communicate these requests to the hotel. The hotel is experienced at accommodating vegan, gluten-free, kosher, allergies, etc.
