Bio:
William Giller holds a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation (English, Spanish, French) from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. He currently works as the Lead Interpreter for AVS translations at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. He also serves on the board of directors of the Northern California Translators Association, an ATA chapter, as the digital content director.

CEUs for sessions are only available to participants who complete the entire activity. Your viewing will be timestamped to verify participation and issue certificates.
Languages:
This presentation will be delivered in English and will focus on spoken language interpreting. The presenter may reference examples in multiple languages, as relevant to the content.
Training level:
This session is intended for working interpreters and is appropriate for all experience levels. While interpreting students are welcome to attend CHIA events, these events are not specifically designed for students—though they are still likely to benefit from participating.
