CHIA strives to provide high-quality training opportunities through its regional chapters. Chapters try to meet quarterly, often at hospitals and clinics.  Chapter meetings include presentations by interpreters or interpreter trainers, healthcare professionals, educators, or government personnel.   The meetings provide those who work in healthcare language services an opportunity to share information and build relationships.

CHIA welcomes members to participate in all local events. Members are not “assigned” to any particular region, and are invited to attend as many events in as many regions as they wish.
