Welcome to the CHIA Healthcare Interpreter Registry

Whether you are an interpreter, interpreting student, hospital or clinic administrator, interpreting agency or language company, please make use of this exciting resource.

  1. Any active CHIA member can enter information about their work availability, language skills, and interpreting experience and training.
  2. Employers who log onto our site are free to search the Registry by desired language or languages, geography, and type of opening available.

Please, even interpreters who are not seeking work should consider entering at least some information about themselves.  Your participation will help CHIA, healthcare policymakers, consumer advocates, and other stakeholders can learn about the training, skills, experience, and location of healthcare interpreters within California.

Your information will be posted live once we have reviewed it, typically within 24 hours.  We will notify you via email when your information is “live.”
